The SEDG Cell works with the Equal Opportunity Cell to ensure that students from socio-economically disadvantaged groups receive information and assistance for scholarships, fee concessions and welfare schemes.

- Coordinator: Prof. Manisha Eknath Khedekar (Officer-in-charge, Equal Opportunity Cell) — MahaDBT assistance desks before every scholarship deadline, a support list of students with disabilities for scribe & accessibility arrangements, and fee-concession recommendations reviewed by the committee
